Super stop at Spring Street (Melbourne)

Had a quick look at the work done in Collins Street
west of Spring Street over the weekend. The track was
relaid but there is no evidence of other work on the
construction of the "super stop". Tram services
appeared to be operating normally. Will probably pop
down at lunch time to have a look at the work at
Swanston Street.

Some good coverage on the cable TV (watched here in
Melbourne) this morning about the alternative
transportation arrangements from New Jersey to NYC
including advice to use the light rail. I spent a week
in the area last year so it is really chilling for me
to look at the coverage.
