More on super stops

Had a look at Swanston Street/Collins Street at lunch
time today.
The eastbound stop has been re-located (temporarily)
to the east side of Swanston Street. Parking has been
eliminated beside the Melbourne Town Hall.
The bundy clock is still operating. It is on the
existing westbound stop. It was running 3.75 hours
fast at 1315 today.
The super stop has been constructed on the west wide
of Swanston Street. There are two raised "platforms.
The westbound platform starts immediately west of the
Swanston Street pedestrian crossing. The eastbound
platform is offset by about two metres. There is only
one traffic lane in each direction west of Swanston
Street to Manchester Lane.
There are no notices advising passengers that the stop
has been moved. But it would probably be obvious to
most people. There is a Yarra Trams employee
supervising the site.
I also understand that considerable work has been done
to simplify the overhead east of Hoddle Street towards
the Mont Albert route. Many frogs have been removed.
I am still yet to see a Citadis car running...
