It is very quiet, especially with a 12 minute day time service interval.
However it is much busier than it was years ago when virtually nobody
travelled by tram on Christmas day and it was a 20/30 min service.

Good to see someone out getting the coverage on Christmas Day; the
sign of a dedicated enthusiast!
Were other enthusiasts out getting the coverage on Christmas Day?
I have always been occupied by family commitments on Christmas Day,
apart from a couple in the 1970s, when I had to work.
I wonder what the tram patronage is on Christmas Day? Are there
pattens that are different to other days? I've noticed over many
yesterday while travelling to and from family commitments (by
car/auto) rather than by tram I must admit) that the traffic is
moving in all different directions, you rarely see a car with a
single occupant and there are very few commercial vehicles on the
road.
