Re: Combino tomorrow

Hi All

I went for a ride on the Combino yesturday. They seem to me to be
very nice. I agree that the position where you stand to get your
ticket is awkward. You have to stand on the two feet which arer
painted on the floor. It is right next to the turnstile. Be in for a
surprize it you are not carefull. The tram was the one with the two
mechanics and a nice lady who told me that she was a customer service
person. Anyway I can go back to Wellington happy that at least I have
been on it. By the way, thanks for spending time with me on Monday,
Graeme B. It was much appreciated. I have had to send this from an
internet cafe. Telstra still has not fixed the phone where I am
staying. Great service I don't think.

3504 spotted turning from High St into St Kilda Rd at 12:58pm today.

A handful of passengers and at least two safety-vested staff on
board.

Little bit of wheel squeal around the curve, but didn't seem to
wobble as much as a Citadis.
