Am I unlucky?

I have caught maybe six trams in the last two weeks and I
think it is just a nasty coincidence. But two Saturdays ago, power failure
in St Kilda Rd announced over public address. As the tram I was on crossed
over the insulator just after Southbank Blvd the power went off and of course
the tram stopped. Jumped off tram and caught a bus home. Hopped on
the tram yesterday to go to Prahran and went one stop and there was a two car
accident on the tracks. Jumped off and caught a bus. Today while
going into the city I heard an announcement that there was a broken down tram at
Collins St in Swanston St coming out of the city. Won't affect me I
thought. Well, I am not sure if it was related, but when coming home from
the city, their was bank up of trams from the Domain interchange back to Dorcas
St. Maybe an after affect of the other delay, or not. Yes, correct, I
got off and caught the bus home.
Is there a theme happening here? Well when there were
unmodified W's in St Kilda Rd, it was rare for the to be a serious delay, mostly
something like a broken rope on the pole, took a few minutes to sort out.
If they want modern trams, then there must be the back up always nearby to fix
the problem quickly.
