Hi Chris,
Thank you very much for the great photo of this rarely
seen tram! Did you actually get to see this tram on
the 10th? it was looking a bit worse for ware with its
cracked 378 number on the front and spider webs.
Thanx a lot!

No I didn't get to see it, I am actually in the tram capital of Australia
(Melbourne), so that was the only time I saw 378. I also got to have a
look inside, but the Motor Person wouldn't let us take any photos.

Chris.

Attached is a photo of H378 "Grand Lady" at Jetty
Road on Monday 15th
January 2001. It was in use at the time for a
toilet for crews, as trams
shunted at Jetty Road. There was some cycle race on
the following day, and
at the time the tram tracks were sealed over to
create a smooth surface for
the cyclists.

Hi Group,
Was anyone at Glenelg on Sunday 10th November 2002?
Did you see
the "Grand Lady" blue restaurant tram. Well, if you
did, you should
count yourself lucking becuase that was the last
time it will be
used on the Glenelg line! From nowm it will be
stored at the
Glengowrie Depot and then shipped off to the St.
Kilda Museum (at
least, that's what the tram driver said). Just
wondering, does
anyone have any information about this tram or any
photos of it?
