Thank you very much for the great photo of this rarely
seen tram! Did you actually get to see this tram on
the 10th? it was looking a bit worse for ware with its
cracked 378 number on the front and spider webs.

January 2001. It was in use at the time for a
toilet for crews, as trams
shunted at Jetty Road. There was some cycle race on
the following day, and
at the time the tram tracks were sealed over to
create a smooth surface for
the cyclists.

Was anyone at Glenelg on Sunday 10th November 2002?the "Grand Lady" blue restaurant tram. Well, if youdid, you shouldcount yourself lucking becuase that was the lasttime it will beused on the Glenelg line! From nowm it will bestored at theGlengowrie Depot and then shipped off to the St.Kilda Museum (atleast, that's what the tram driver said). Justwondering, doesanyone have any information about this tram or anyphotos of it?
