I would be interested to know what requirements there are for becoming a tram driver too. Although unlikely to contemplate a career change myself (already having one of those thanks), but my wife mentors a teenager who is keen on trams and would like to 'grow up to become a tram driver' but she is deaf. She can hear with hearing aids (although not perfectly) and I wonder if this would be a problem...
