Hello, Folks.
I recently joined this List for a couple of reasons; firstly I've
fond memories of travelling out to the Sydney Royal Easter Show by
tram in 1958 - the last time I attended that particular event! Each
trip to Melbourne is a trip down memory lane. Second reason for
joining is I'm researching Anthony Horden's great department storeBrickfield Hill and am after information on the surrounding streetsof
which of course featured trams.
The above project realy hasn't gotten far yet but seeing a couple of
mentions of the Loftus Tram Museum reminded me that I had a couplephotos taken there in December 1972, almost 30 years ago. So foryourinterest I've scanned the photos and loaded them in the followinghttp://docs.yahoo.com/info/terms/
spot. Maybe you'll recognise some of the faces.
