Unfortunately the faces were obscured by lots and lots of snow. In fact
the picture looked like a polar bear in a snowstorm. :-)

Hello, Folks.
I recently joined this List for a couple of reasons; firstly I've
fond memories of travelling out to the Sydney Royal Easter Show by
tram in 1958 - the last time I attended that particular event! Each
trip to Melbourne is a trip down memory lane. Second reason for
joining is I'm researching Anthony Horden's great department store at
Brickfield Hill and am after information on the surrounding streets
which of course featured trams.
The above project realy hasn't gotten far yet but seeing a couple of
mentions of the Loftus Tram Museum reminded me that I had a couple of
photos taken there in December 1972, almost 30 years ago. So for your
interest I've scanned the photos and loaded them in the following
spot. Maybe you'll recognise some of the faces.
