Hi, gang!
Many of us have been having problems opening various JPEG attachments on
Yahoogroups lately. I got a reply from the moderator on the Eurotrams group
on how to resolve the problem. Click on the word "Download" and if it
doesn't open right away, go to the URL line, copy it, hit Control+L
[Command+L on Macs] for "Open Location" (same on both Netscape and Internet
Explorer), replace the number that's not working with any number between 1
and 6, and you should get the jpeg opening up. If it doesn't work, try a
different number. It works for me.

BTW, for some reason Yahoogroups burped at my attempt to open the jpeg of
your other Kassel picture, car 465. I'm finding this to be a very
annoying
problem of Yahoogroups, and the problem is not confined to Eurotrams. I'm
trying to find out why, but I'm not holding my breath for a timely answer.
Yahoo! Groups has had problems with their attachment servers for some time
now. The have six of them and once you open an attachment the server's
address is given in the URL (it runs along the lines of
http://attach2.egroups.com/...). Often, one of the servers is down, at the
weekend it was server number 2.
Nevertheless, they are all duplicates of each other, so if you replace the 2
in the address with any other number between 1 and 6, it should work!
I hope this solves your problem, if not, please let me know!
Regards
Stefan
