Any thoughts?

Paul,

Foreign cars have operated in Melb before in the gize of former Melb
cars running on the loop, but never a car from another system or
country in service with the public. There might be one exception
though in the guise of 52 and 53 though, it would be hard to call the
VR line a different "system".

I would like to say thanks to all the "Gunzels" out there for their
excellent behavior today giving the public, for who the car was run,
a clear run while still taking advantage of this now rare and great
opportunity, it was great to see so many faces from the past, nice to
know you guys are still sucking air, for me, well, I hav'nt had as
much fun since I ran the historic cars on the Glenelg line for the
Jubilee back in 79, It's a highlight in my tram driving career
whilst, I have driven exotic cars all over the world, to drive one on
you own system is something extra special.

Hope you all enjoyed yourselves today and hope this is the start of
more heritage runs.

Cheers
"Trolley Greg" (God I thought that old handle was dead and buried a
life time ago!)
