Hi, gang!
I want to wish all of my group members a happy and safe Thanksgiving with
your families and loved ones! It's been a difficult past two months, but
all of my groups have pulled through and are more interesting than ever.
Here's where all of the groups stand as of November 21:

Founded Oct. 20, 2000. 117 members, 4154 messages posted.
(Average of 320 messages a month.)

Founded July 1, 2001. 116 members, 1279 messages posted.
(Average of 282 messages a month.)
TramsDownUnder:
Founded August 21, 2001. 80 members, 1082 messages posted.
(Average of 360 messages a month.)
MilanoTrams:
Founded August 21, 2001. 40 members, 293 messages posted.
(Average of 98 messages a month.)
PacificNWTraction:
Founded September 6, 2001. 49 members, 120 messages posted.
(Average of 49 messages a month.)
ChicagolandTraction:
Founded September 10, 2001. 59 members, 214 messages posted.
(Average of 105 messages a month.)
PhillyTraction:
Founded September 18, 2001. 65 members, 294 messages posted.
(Average of 135 messages a month.)
LightRailTraction:
Founded October 3, 2001. 68 members, 154 messages posted.
(Average of 98 messages a month.)
BostonTraction (the newest group):
Founded November 13, 2001. 47 members, 46 messages posted.
(On pace for an average of 150 messages a month)
Since creating these groups, I've learned a lot about the world of traction
and its role in the various cities and regions, all of which have had a most
fascinating and rich history of public transport. I feel that creation of
these groups has filled a need. But I couldn't have done it without the
help of all of you listmembers! All of you have contributed a lot to the
growth of these groups with your knowledgeable, informative and witty posts.
