Bugger!

Thanks, Greg.

Did the pantograph work OK?

What car do you own, Greg?

Hi Bob,

When 546 was retired, it was used to test pantograph fitting and was run
around the shops with it, the panto was similar to look at as the
Citadis.
Ultimately, 533 received the panto as a test car with the panto the
wrong
way around (ie the "elbow" facing short end, most unattractive way to do
it,
like the Red Arrow lines in Philly and the Long Beach LRT cars) and was
run
on the LRT lines. It was destroyed by fire during the start of the big
union
uprising in 1989-1990, the remains were scavanged for parts along with
the
other W2's that went to the US and, the panto went to the US with them
(I
know, I managed to save a few parts for my car and tried in vain to save
the
panto).

greg

I saw a W-2 with pantographs years ago. I think it was a works or test
car.
