Frankston line: Trains will not stop at Parkdale until mid 2024 (level-crossing removal work). Shuttle buses will operate Mentone - Parkdale - Mordialloc, connecting with trains. No access to station facilities or platforms during this time.
10.01 Sunbury line: Major delays (a track fault in the Sunshine area). Trains may be altered.
- 10.35 Buses to replace trains Sunshine - Sydenham Watergardens. Buses have been ordered, but may take over 15 min to arrive.
- 10.45 Buses may take another 5 min to arrive.
- 10.50 Trains are resuming.
- 11.01 It's now looking like being a 90 minute wait for city loop trains. What the hell happened to all the trains that didn't run during the fault? Why the hell aren't they all running now?
- 11.05 Citybound Sunbury trains terminated at Watergardens then returned to Sunbury during the disruption. You can still connect with other loop services at either North Melbourne or Southern Cross.
14.50 Buses to replace trains between Ringwood and Lilydale (an equipment fault in the Mooroolbark - Lilydale area).  Replacement buses have been ordered, but will take over 60 min to arrive
- 15.14 Trains are resuming. First trains: 14.30 ex Flinders St; 15.09 ex Lilydale.
15.43  Werribee/Williamstown lines: Major delays (a vehicle hit a bridge in the Footscray area). Trains may be held or altered.
- 16.11 Trains may terminate/originate at Newport.
- 16.14 clearing.

Trains operate as a shuttle Caulfield - Pakenham/Cranbourne from 21.00 until the last train (maintenance and renewal works).  Change at Caulfield from/to a Frankston train.
