Getting back to the stories about Essendon, lady
drivers and Jimmy Banks ......
My ex wife, Denise, who I met and married while working at
Essendon , enjoyed taking out the painted up W2's
They were all sent to Essendon during Melbourne Cup Week
one year.
Rostered to do all the runs on 50 / 57 Nth
Melbourne - West Marybrnong , and shorts to Ascot Vale.
In the picture Denise gets 607 ready.
In her yellow uniform she contrasts considerably with the
bright red car.
A personal note.......
Denise and I went our own way later,
She joined the railways as a train conductor.and later
took the package.
I wandered of to North Fitzroy to aim
gutterliners.
She married again, but we keep in touch and are still good
friends. ( Some say better than before )

PS,
Is "Collective Paralysis" related to to the
"Acerbic" condition? It would seem to be reaching epidemic proportions in
the Egroups.
Not only confined to this group either......... I am a member of 18 groups,
most of which are in an advanced state of rigormortis.
So there is no problem keeping up with the play., because nothing much
happens.
PPS You may say it's
up to the members to contribute to keep the things alive.......................
Been there, doing that !!!!!
