We just loved Graeme's story of late night grinding in 301! A real classic.
She is still one of the most lovely cars to drive - beautiful hum as she
winds up and the most responsive rheo-mag brakes you could wish for. All
1906-ish eqpt.
Yes we have used her for rail grinding - she also has a superb DC MG set
which can be used for welding or brewing the kettle.
On this occasion 29 December 1996 (tell us why that day Graeme) 301 is at
speed on the 4-foot gauge going down Gr Nth Road. Yours truly is at the
controls with Paul Dillicar hanging on to the front in case we stop
suddenly and the whole lot falls off! Followed in hot pursuit by the
