For the Auckland Streamliner fanatics here is the well known shot taken by
Albert Chan of 253 and 248 both in operation at the same time. This was
possible for only a brief time in the mid 80's after 248 had been restored
and before 253 was decommissioned pending a truck refurb and a major body
rebuild. The truck rebuild (EMB L5) is nearly complete so... one day...!
