You are quite right, I had forgotten about that but, the planned removal of
Z3's from Yarra Trams will still be as discussed. It's a pity in a way, they
were the best performers out of all of the Siemans equipped cars, except
2001 and 2002 (yeah, I know they are basically the same but, from a driver's
point of view) and the Z family were the only cars after the W's that
actually had room for prams etc, a real problem on A's and B's. It's just a
shame they have been let go so badly and the former excellent maintenance
regime of the old MMTB has long given way to "replace it if it breaks or
falls off, if we've got a part" and they are so full of rust.

Word has it that the days of Z3's on 112 are numbered, as in a matter of aStreet.
couple of days. Z3's will be swapped with the A's being used on route 48
currently, as the Z's are not suitable for the super stops on Collins
Michael.
