I wonder what the tram patronage is on Christmas Day? Are there
pattens that are different to other days? I've noticed over many
yesterday while travelling to and from family commitments (by
car/auto) rather than by tram I must admit) that the traffic is
moving in all different directions, you rarely see a car with a
single occupant and there are very few commercial vehicles on the
road.

Normally during the day, toorak road is non stop traffic jam between
punt and williams roads. Yesterday there was not one car in sight!!!
The only sign of life was an empty B2 (the one advertising kraft
salad dressing) and an empty Z passing each other at the Chapel
Street Corner.
