The Lizard, Italian style

The latest issue of "Trolley Wire" has an interesting article on
construction of "The Lizard"... the road trailer used by NSW Tramways
to transfer trams between the main Sydney system and some of the
isolated sections of the network. The article covered the engineering
behind the construction of The Lizard in the UK, including a photo of
it being tested by a Liverpool tramways double deck car being driven
onto it.

The Lizard was quite an impressive vehicle but it pales into
insignificance compared to what I found on an Italian tram web sight
today.....
