MUNI 1009

OK, now that we're all reading the Aussie group as well, here is what
should happen to MUNI 1009. Get some big money interested, line up
advertising and a sponsor or two, and rebuild #1009 as the "TORPEDO
RESTAURANT"! I am serious. They thought the restaurant tram idea in
Melbourne was crazy when they started, but look at them now. You can't
book a seat unless you do it weeks ahead. And Bendigo. And
Christchurch. And even Adelaide's again runs part time. The idea would
catch on like wildfire in San Francisco. A Torpedo is excellently
suited for it, being long and wide and smooth. And can you just imagine
Peter scheming to try to get permanently assigned to it? Why don't you
guys in San Francisco sit down and really think this out. It is a real
