I took a look at "The Time Line History........".Oct 4 1971,Hawthorn
Depot entrance reduced to single track and the crossover in Wallen
Rd. removed,then Oct 25 1973,Conductors Training School transferred
from Nicholson St[Enginehouse]to Hawthorn Depot and then Nov 27
1973,Crossover in Power St north of Riversdale Rd removed as part of
road works to alter intersection.Finally a new crossover was
installed in Riversdale Rd at Power St on April 22 1974.Thanks to
Barry George et al for a very useful source.I will write 100 lines,"I
