John Fitzsimons answered a similar question a few months ago; the
layout was quite different from today. The 27 terminated in Power
Street slightly north of Wallen Road. Cars running in and out would
have used the crossover in Riversdale Road, west of Glenferrie Road,
now removed.

And what is the history of the depot itself? Was it built by HTT as
facility in 1916, or did it already exist as a horse-traminstallation? And did
its closure coincide with the realignment of services in 1966 orwere the two
events unrelated?
Thanks to whomever for the answers.
