Bit late.
* I'm told Z3.153 was involved in a nasty accident
with a truck at the intersection of Swanston & Flinders St, and the tram has
suffered same severe damage. I have no further information.
* A GH staff newsletter advised that Transport
Opposition spokesperson Geoff Leigh entered the the depot with a HS photographer
without permission. Later an article was published in the HS with a
photograph of Leigh and a row of W's. Management were not upset by the
article, but by the fact that permission had not been obtained and Leigh and the
photographer had just walked in. Permission would have been granted should
they have sought it.
* In the late evening, Z3.122 was seen running back
to GH depot from Chapel St showing "Glenhuntly Depot" with a route number of
412.
