Three shots of the old, unreconstructed Kelburn cable car, plus one more
trolleybus picture. The cable car views could date from either 1960 or 1961.
From just inside the Botanical Gardens near the upper station, we look past the
cable car towards Te Aro, Newtown and a glimpse of the sea. Easily recognisable
in the distance are the Carillon and the grey bulk of the Dominion Museum
behind it.
