Wellington were never told that the small wheel was
supposed to be leading in their Brill max traction trucks.
They must have got it right though, they were the
standard for many years and survived the rugged hilly routes without
problems.
I took a shot which you would appreciate back in
the early 60's on the Thorndon route from the Davis Street railway
bridge.
