I think I saw the odd silver trolleybus when I was in Wellington for the
last tram in May 1964, but since my photographic attention was on the trams
(I will post some when I get my old slides scanned) I have no proof.

trolleys that late, neither do I remember *not* seeing them. These pictures,

am fairly confident, were taken during a weekend visit in February of 1961.
I've included an enlargement of the other Roseneath picture as well, though
there isn't a whole lot that can be gleaned from it. Or rather, I'll include
it
in a separate post - the Esteemed Leader informed me of the rule against
multiple binaries.
