Wellington: Haitaitai Tunnel in 1961

This is my first experiment in posting a picture to this group. My apologies to
any who find it too large.
While living in NZ in 1960-1962 I was tightly closeted as a railfan, and shot
only a few slides on the subject - a literal handful when it came to trams and
trolleybuses. Now at long last I have slide-scanning capabilities and am poised
to share these few.
I think the image both supports and requires the large format, and have done
all I could to cut down the file size. Here are some options. I can:
1. Post to the group's Files (problem is, pictures in Files seem to be severely
compressed: compare some of WGB's pictures attached to messages with the same
pictures in Files.)
2. Post in a smaller format and offer the larger one privately to anybody who
might be interested.
3. Post to Usenet (ABPR and ABPV - actually, I'll probably be doing that
anyway.)
4. Post other pictures just as I have done this one. After all, there are only
a handful, with another handful shot in Australia.
5. Go away ;-)
Comments welcome,
