Route numbers

Guys,
The Footscray lines were allotted route numbers in 1929,and a 1934
Melb Centenary Guide makes mention of these route nos.However,as the
X1 & X2 class cars were not fitted with route no boxes,and due to
Footscray being an isolated system,the numbers were re allotted in
1935 to the Elizabeth St lines,
