415 was a real "screamer" and a pleasure to drive when I was at
Camberwell 1974-1976. I saw it in Darwin when I was there in 1998.
When I first got interested in trams as a schoolboy in the 1950s
there were (disused) curves leading from Burke Road into Whitehorse
Road (towards Mont Albert) so the Camberwell terminus must have been
a crossover approximately at the location of the photo.
There were also interesting "clock" style traffic lights at the
intersection of Burke and Cotham/Whitehorse Roads. It is Cotham Road
west of Burke Road and Whitehorse Road east; must be confusing for
our overseas readers.

Many moons ago when I first escaped from New Zealand, I passed
happiness on a working holiday in Great Britain.
The good ship "Gallileo Gallalei" , a new ship of the LloydTriestino line, dropped me at Station Pier from where I did a
lightning day of tram gunzelling and riding around the City.
When checking pictures last night, I see that at some stage thatday I actually rode on a No 7 tram.............No 415.
