Hong Kong trolleybus proposal / Wellington

I have copied the following posting from the Yahoo trolleybus site.
Regretably, the proposal to trial the prototype Hong Kong trolleybus
in Wellington appears to have been abandoned.

Subject: Hong Kong Trolley Bus

Hi all
For those who haven't heard the trial of the Hong Kong Dennis
Trolley bus in Wellington has been cancelled due to the Land
Transport Stafey Authority (LTSA) deciding that a permit for it's
extra height and operation in NZ as a trial for another country does
not meet the mark in improving saftey in NZ. It is reported that
Hong Kong operators are looking to increase the size of the test
circut and possibly this might inculde a run an the road.
