Further W2 Information

Peter
The South Pacific Electric Railway (Sydney Tramway Museum) owns the
following W2's, all of with the exception of 392 are stored off site.
W2 244 - Not owned by SPER but rebuilt by SPER Workshops for use on
Christchuch Tramway. Originally owned by Newcastle Tramway Museum.
W2 411 - Dismantled from tavern in Maroubra (Suburb of Sydney). Car
had to be taken down to bare frame to enable removal. Rebuilt by SPER
workshops as restraunt car for Christchurch.
W2's owned by the Museum
W2 245 - Converted by NTM as restraunt car, acquired in 1995
SW2 432 Ex NTM stored awaiting restoration
W2 392 Purchased by SPER direct from M&MTB
W2 471 Ex NTM, stored on unmotored trucks
W2 560 Donated by failed Port Kembla tramway project to SPER
W2 570 Ex Port Kembla
W2 370 Ex Port Kembla
As for Elton John's W2 apparently it is used as a summer house on one
of his English country estates.
Just out of curousity Peter, what MUNI destinations are on the blinds
of the the MUNI W2 cars?. I known that they have F Market, but do
they have the remainder of the system.
