Excellent shots which prove within a shadow of a doubt that our cars
have a completely different front end arrangement.
Now....... Ron Scholten, trainer of great esteem of Malvern, and one
of the appointed people to go to Germany a couple of years ago to
check out the Seimens factory and car construction, has advised that
the front end has been restyled, and it would seem that our cars are
the first to be so fitted.
Nordhausen took delivery of some three section Combinos which were
said to be EXACTLY the same as ours, but single ended.
They were named the "Bambinos" because they were so small compared
with normal European practice.
But they turned out to be not the same at all.
As I posted some time back, and I will repeat.....The Combino is the
most non standard, standard car being built.
