Paul in Melbourne: presentation of slides from 1982 - tonight (9 August 2002)

I am "rostered" to give a slide show to the AETA meeting in Melbourne
tonight, Friday 9 August 2002.

I've got together a selection of slides, mostly Melbourne trams and
trains, from the year 1982 - 20 years ago. Amazing how things have
changed since then! Shiny Hitachi sets, gleaming Taits and "real"
green and cream trams, etc. I really enjoyed putting the slides
together; aspects of our transport system that I had forgotten about!

Visitors are welcome so if you don't have anything better to do why
not come along.

The venue is Ross House, 247 Flinders Lane, Melbourne and the time is
1930 (7.30 pm). There is a pre-meeting dinner and get together at
Australia on Collins (the back of the food court complex) from 1800
(6.00 pm).
