Good to see you on line Barry (George); will look forward to seeing
some postings of your "experiences" in the MMTB over the years.
BTW I always thought Gavin (aka "Guard") Young was the "owner" of
the "roster clerk" title among the Victorian enthusiasts; smile!
Perhaps we should start a list of interesting terminology used among
the enthusiast fraternity; I recently heard safety vests referred to
as "party frocks".
It reminded me of a story from many years ago of two keen young
enthusiasts who called in on a respected tramway colleague one
evening. The door was answered by the persons [male] flatmate
wearing - yes you guessed it - a "party frock"!!!!! And it wasn't a
safety vest.
