Elephant Never Forgets

I recall that today is the 50th anniversary of the closure of the
London trams. And also recall the film called "The Elephant Never
Forgets" with its "catchy" song about a ride on the "car". Was any
reader of this list present for the closure in London in 1952. I was
barely two-years-old at the time.
