I'm sure if you talk to YT, they won't been keen on giving up any A-
class trams in the near future. The As from Kew are going to
Preston. They are already struggling at the moment with returning
the Z3s from M>Tram (albeit this is due to lack of qualified

drivers

for the C-class) Unless the government are going to shell out more
money for YT to buy some more C-class? Did your informant say
approximately when they would be "released"?

I thought the 1st of April had already passed!!! If any A's were ever
to be released, I'm sure M>trams would be first cab off the rank to
replace more z's.

ATTENTION Gunzel's, if you want to get some scoop pickies of 983
tomorrow, I'm scheduled to do some testing of the car anywhere from
Latrobe and Nicholson to St. Kildaa Park st and all points in
between, probably run out after lunch till around 5 ish, depends on
needs etc.
