Just wondering something out aloud, thought it might interest some
other members.
With all the new trams, Citadis, but mainly five section Combinos,
how will they all fit into the depots?
I assume that most depots were built at or before the time of the
W's, and someone would have worked out that, to run X number of
routes, you need Y number of trams, therefore you need Z amount of
room to fit them all in the depot.
So how is it that now we have longer trams, are they all going to fit
into the depots? I'm sure that a few B's and C's take up more room,
unless there is a tardis effect that happens inside Melbourne's
depots on the hush hush.... Mmmm.
