Re: Domain Rd tram stop 27-09-2024

According to a recent press release from Jacinta Allan, Domain Rd is soon to reopen ( https://www.premier.vic.gov.au/sites/default/files/2024-09/240909-Three-Down%2C-Two-To-Go-.pdf ), so visited the site to look at the platform stops.

I note that the Press Release says:

"With the completion of major construction, Domain Road is also expected to open to pedestrians, cyclists and drivers next month – after being shut since 2017."

... and note that there is no mention of trams.

The connection and platform stops would be part of the Metro Tunnel works contract, so may have been completed on the basis of that contract and the lack of a decision on the eventual use (or not) of the Domain Rd tramway.
