The Death of 304

Just imagine you were having a quiet one or two
upstairs at Young&Jacksons,possibly even contemplating
Chloe in her unclad, and incomplete splendour, but of
course more likely watching the unending parade of
trams passing below. An almighty crash and the parade
stopped and the great tram ignoring public suddenly
became vitally interested in the M&MTB.The attached
photo obviously taken from the upstairs corner window
of Y&Js,Dvr.Middlemo of Camberwell the culprit,as I
remember it was a summer day, about lunchtime,I think
he may have dozed off.Jeff Bounds, you will know the
details. It was the end of 304,it was a sad sight in
the per-way yard at South Melbourne with its back
broken. If this happened today half the Police Force
would be there, there would be blue and white tape
everywhere and the city streets would be closed off
for blocks around, the place would grind to a halt but
in this shot it all looks pretty casual,I like it
better that way.Regards all,PBruce.
