I think I may have posted this picture before,
but I think it's time to look again at what might have been the first of
Melbourne's "new style" trams.
Note aluminium extruded window frames, fibreglass
roof, pantograph mountings, turning and tail light fittings, Z style sand hopper
openings etc etc.
Taken at PWS shortly before being transferred to
Newport.
Was car 922.
