What you can buy on the tramcar in Melbourne is a two
hour ticket. If you want a day pass there are lots of
places (local shops, Seven Eleven stores etc)
displaying MetCard flags and selling the full range of
tickets. A zone 1 ticket covers the whole tram system
except outer ends of Bundoora and East Burwood. If
you want those lines, buy a zone 1+2.

If this question has been answered before, I must
have missed it, but amid
the turmoil now going on with the privatization of
the Melbourne tram
system, is it possible to buy, on the car, a day
pass as one once could
about five or more years ago?
