Restored trams running in Melbourne

Gentlemen; let's not get our knickers in too much of a
knot over Milan 1692. It's wonderful to see the tram
in Melbourne and able to run in the Moomba procession
(and on the City Circle on 28 April?). It's also not
as if there aren't any "original" Milan Peter Witt
cars elsewhere in the world. I can't see much hope for
the continuied operation of traditional "enthusiast"
tram tours in Melbourne so isn't much better to see
the restored/heritage cars being used in service and
carrying "real" passengers rather than a bunch of
tramfan "greybeards"?
