Paul,it must have happened about 1430,3009 hit 124 at the St.Andrews
Pl. stop, not much more than a City tap as the old blokes used to
say,but bent 124s bumper up slightly.I drove past shortly after it
happened, there was an elderly lady recieving attention in 3009,I came
back a little later, high vis jackets everywhere. The leaves have
started falling in earnest, rear on season is here.Peter Bruce.--- In

There was a rear on in Macarthur Street this
afternoon. A Citadis into the back of a Z on the up
track between Cathedral Place and St Andrews Place.
Got out from the office (at 1505 Melbourne time) to
see it just as the cars were being driven away (under
their own power). Lots of police and Yarra Trams
people milling around but no sign of any injuries.
Would appear that one of the trams skidded on the
autumn leaves. Regular services were diverted via
LaTrobe Street for a time.
Paul in Melbourne.
