PDF is a far better format for detailed drawings, such as track maps. As
Malcolm indicates, the reader is free and easily obtained and is installed
on most computers. It is the normal format for making documents available on
websites.
I would like to see the track maps redrawn in a vector format (e.g. using
Illustrator or Freehand, or a CAD program)before saving as PDFs. That way
fine detail and text would be preserved even in extreme close-up, and
amendments, historical changes, etc could be saved in different layers. This
is something that those of us who have the software could collaborate on.
Cheers,

probably find it also on those CDs that most computer magazines have

Any chance of re posting them in a .jpg format, or can someone out
there help me with the how and what of opening them.
