Today was the first time the new Citadis cars were to be seen on the streets
in daylight, one car in use all day around town doing training and proving,
still no number (except paper stuck in windscreen) and no seat cushions, I
was running the "City Circle" service in A296 when I first saw it and
announced it to all passengers. It is impressive and looks huge in the
street but, the driver sits incredibly low and way back from the windscreen.
It stalled on a "cut-off" and had to be towed clear (no bumper to push!)
where it ran fine till some braking problem sidelined it, I think only minor
adjustment was needed. It has full decals now.
