Now these wre in my opnion the finest buses in Wellington

HOWEVER somebody in the darwing office got it wrong and the roof line was too low.

When driving you had to almost duck to look up at the overhead while your kneecaps were visible to all and sundry.

But an excellent bus to drive for all that.

I got to drive 119 at the trolley bus festival a couple of years ago, although preserved the bus went like a rocket....just like new.

Body by New Zealand Motor Bodies 101 - 119.

BUT type RETB1, electrical stuff in the back.
