-G'day Mal,you're right about the callsign but R10 survived as the
generic description of the breakdown for God knows how long and may
still for all I know,no apologies needed about "bussy" talk,its a
fascinating part of tramway operation,see message 1101 and on round
about October,why not put the photo in the photo section,anyone got
photos of its successors and maybe some more info about the vehicles

"R10" was in fact the radio call sign of the emergency
breakdown vehicle of the M&MTB. This particular
vehicle was R10 in 1968. It was a rebuilt exWW2 tank
recovery vehicle - a Leyland Matador I believe.
