1041 was a superbly riding car and very quiet.
Far superior to a Z.
Almost like an air bag !!!

I always tried to swap for that table but usually when I got it the
car would be stopped by Lou for something or other, and I would have
to use a normal Z.
When at SPER couple of years ago I was able to have a drive of 1014 I
found the two cars were very comparable (and so they should have
been )

The ex VR cars 52 and 53 had K35 contollers and were for sure a pain
in the neck !!!
But here again, I used to try to swap shifts to get one of these cars
when they went to Brunswick or South Melbourne for wheel grinding.


Don't forget the other wierd cars 750 and 751 with the PC5
controllers.
